Cro's Debütalbum "RAOP" hat in kürzester Zeit die deutsche Musiklandschaft verändert.
Jetzt haben sich die bekanntesten deutschsprachigen Mashup Produzenten versammelt, um "RAOP" in seine Einzelteile zu zerlegen und es in neuem Gewand wieder auferstehen zu lassen. Das Ergebnis wurde "MAOP" getauft und es erscheint zunächst im Stream mit freundlicher Genehmigung von Cro & Chimperator.
Auf dem Album sind 13 Produktionen von DJ Morgoth, DJ Schmolli, Mashup-Germany, MashMike, DJ Y alias JY und Marc Johnce zu finden.
Zusätzlich gibt es vier Bonus Tracks.

Cro is a young German raoper (he created raop = rap + pop) and is very successful with his first album "Raop". Now some of the best German mashup producers came together to produce the "Maop" album. Cro in da mash! Maybe something not just for the Germans out there...enjoy!

MUYB 5-Year Anniversary: 25 All Time Favourites & 25 Forgotten Hits

Hello Mashup fans.
This month I celebrate the 5th Mash-Up Your Bootz Birthday.
Back in May 2007 I started with my little MUYB project and it's amazing how it developed over the years.
In total we have nearly 60 monthly samplers, yearly Best-Of compilations, and some additional gimmick samplers.

And yes, this year you will also get a special birthday gift from me.
I think with 5 years of MUYB it was about time to release a little "All Time Favourites" Sampler. I selected 25 of my personal favourites which got the most airplay at MUYB or BOOTIE Partys in the last 5 years by myself.
But that's not all!!!
There is a 2nd compilation for you called "Forgotten Hits". Additionally, I selected 25 songs which didn't make it to the monthly Samplers but somehow are played frequently or they are almost too beautiful to forget them.
