BOOTIE Berlin #09 feat. LOO & PLACIDO // 19.03. (Friday)

Loo & Placido – “Electronic Popstar Killers” [S]mash-up pioneers from Ed banging Paris keep on spinning and producing some of the sickest remixes, cut-ups and edits, this Friday at the BOOTIE Berlin Party.

Their crazy shows take place all over Europe and the US and are characterized by their killer DJ sets where they blend the best of today’s and yesterday’s music with malicious and almost sadistic pleasure. The result is a totaly modern, powerfull and nasty Electro-Hip-Hop-Rock-Disco-Rave mixture that crosses any genre borders – an animating, intoxicating bastard of sound guaranteeing an audience that freaks the hell out!

And this is what Loo & Placido are:
ELECTRO Freaks – ROCK Stars – HIP-HOP Gangsters – DISCO Dancers – POP Bastards – PUNK Rockers – ROBOT Transformers – DIRTY HOUSE Ravers – OLD SCHOOL B-Boys – FUNK Masters – HEAVY METAL Headbangers – BOOTY Shakers – GHETTO CRUNK Players – LATINO Hustlers – HARD ROCK Motherf***ers – RAGGA DANCEHALL Champions – TEQUILA Drinkers – PARTY People : ONE LOVE !!!
ELECTRONIC POPSTAR KILLERS
(Killing Music Since 1999)

And as usual BOOTIE Berlin brings you the full Pirate & BOOTIE treatment for you.

DJ Morgoth, just arrived from his BOOTIE USA Trip, hosts the 80's vs. 90's Mashup Remix Upstairs Floor and Mashup-Germany & Dr.Waumiau play and rock the party around Loo & Placido at the main floor.

And don't forget our free BOOTIE CDs, a special After Midnight Mashup Show, HOOKIE our Party Pirate and much fun.

BOOTIE Berlin is coming to SF! DJ Morgoth, the resident DJ and creator of Bootie’s biggest party beyond the West Coast, is the infamous creator of last year’s Rick-Rolling internet meme sensation, the ridiculous Rick Astley vs. Nirvana mashup, „Never Gonna Give Your Teen Spirit Up,“ which got over two million views on YouTube before being pulled down.

DOSVEC will bring his unique electro-hop remixes and mashups to the upstairs room, while live mashup band Smash-Up Derby rocks the house at 11 PM. And for the German Midnight Mashup Show, it’s Alexis Von Fierce vs. Myster C — with a special guest appearance by Steven Satyricon — as they perform the German version of the classic Jay-Z vs. Nena Bootie hit, „99 Luft Problems.“

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by DJs Adrian & Mysterious D, BOOTIE was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup — and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in eight cities on three continents. Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation — with free mashup CDs given away like candy!

BOOTIE’s DJs and house band Smash-Up Derby, as well as guest mashup DJs from around the world, keep your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, celebrating — and satirizing — the many different forms of music. Bootie also presents the infamous Midnight Mashup Show, featuring local drag and burlesque performers. Bootie showcases the best mashup productions from around the globe … because one song at a time just isn’t enough!

BOOTIE LA: 6th March with DJ Morgoth, DJ Paul V., A+D & R.A.I.D.

As you might have seen already DJ MORGOTH is coming back to the States this March.

This time I will do a small west coast tour, with my first appearance at BOOTIE Los Angeles (6th March) and my 2nd at BOOTIE San Francisco (13th March)...and it's the perfect time to leave a snowy, coldy Berlin to some better weather places...
The details for the BOOTIE LA Party are already online...I will add the San Francisco infos within the next days/weeks...
